Dinner for Schmucks

Dinner for Schmucks

I really enjoy laughing and its rare fore me to laugh more then I do at Steve Carell when he’s playing Micael Scott on ‘The Office’ (if you don’t like the show then I bet its because you don’t really know the characters, you have to know them in order to think its funny… its weird). His latest performance in this movie is sure to rank up there with one of his most hilarious pieces. Plus he has actor Paul Rudd (from ‘I Love You Man’) to back him up and they seem to make an impressive comedy duo.

Storyline goes, Tim (Paul Rudd) is basically offered a promotion if he can impress his boss at their monthly dinner party. Only catch is that the theme for this party is ‘whoever brings the most idiotic person wins’ theme. So Tim must find a moron and convince him to go to this party with him. Tim’s problems are solved when he runs into Barry (literally) and notices that he seems to be missing a few screws. Tim is then introduced to Therman (Zach Galifianakis from ‘The Hangover’), a friend of Barry’s that believes himself to be able to control the human mind. Tim and Barry then go to this dinner where it seems that another employee has brought Therman to the party. It soon turns into a dinner and a show as Therman tries to control Barry’s mind while Barry attempts to throw off his psychic attempts (remember, neither one of them has any effect what so ever on the human brain… there just morons).

Hope my explanation didn’t seem too confusing, hard to explain the comedy thats really going on under the surface. Thats what the trailer is really for, I’m sure your going to love what you see in it. If not, well…. then I guess I’m sorry for making you read all of this then.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!

I agree, it is a little frustrating.
