Killers
This movie really caught my attention, while watching the trailer my eyes were glued to the screen. Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher are the stars and both are impressively good actors. I haven’t seen Ashton in anything good recently (I haven’t seen ‘Valentine’s Day) but the guy has major acting skills. Katherine is coming off the success of ‘The Ugly Truth’ and I can tell that this movie won’t have any problem getting people in the seats.This movie reminds me a lot of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ except I bet in ‘Killers’ you don’t have to wait an hour for it to get good.
In ‘Killers’ Jen played by Katherine is a lonely woman that goes on vacation with her parents. While there she stumbles upon Spencer (Ashton Kutcher) and they really hit it off. The couple moves in together and gets married and everything is perfect. Then one day Jen comes home to find Spencer hurtling through the window in their house. She discovers that Spencer’s is a professional killer and their neighbor is an assassin hired to kill them. So after freaking out she tries to embrace it by taking up a gun to defend herself and to help Spencer out.
This movie is full of all my favorite things such as talent, explosions, guns, with a touch of humor. For anyone who has been staying in touch with Critic Approved know that I’m a fairly cheap person but I’m going to see this one in theaters and I recommend it for all of you as well.
