Knight and Day
So before I go into this I just want to say “Tom Cruise still has it”, in this movie he proves that he can still act, and that he still has the physical stamina to pull off an action movie such as this one while making it look easy. I was greatly impressed by level of action in this movie, such as fight scenes, gun scenes, explosions, plane crashes, dangerous car scenes, government assassins, motorcycle ramps, car hopping and tie it all in with some humor of Tom acting like the whole thing isn’t a big deal… what more could you ask for. Of course I can’t leave Cameron Diaz out of the equation, she has been in hit movie after hit movie and this movie could be one of her biggest achievements.
Tom plays Milner who goes on the run with June Havens (Cameron Diaz) after Milner kills people on a plane and then crashes the plane. In order for June to survive from attackers she must stay with Milner to protect her as they make their way across the globe. In order for these two to survive they must have trust for each other as secrets and surprises pop up all around them.
I don’t think I have to say this, its obvious that I’m looking forward to this movie. The action may be a bit too over the top but not every movie needs to be %100 realistic, every now and then I want to see a movie that’s over the top and this movie pulls it off beautifully.
