Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Recieves Transformers Role
Two days ago I wrote a post about how Megan Fox has been axed from Transformers 3. The rumor at the time was that Gemme Arterton was in the running for the role of Shia’s new love interest. Now according to GeekWeek it seems that a Victoria Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may get the role. GeekWeek seems pretty sure of themselves so I would say that this bit of news can be trusted. Also (some random information for you), seems she is currently dating Jason Statham.
Don’t really know how this decision is going to pan out, Michael Bay’s career is on the line for this one. He personally had Megan Fox kicked out, if her replacement doesn’t get the job done well then Bay is going to look extremely foolish. My first thought after hearing about all this is, can this girl act? Her profession isn’t exactly actress, her being a model makes her seem under-qualified for a big budget major film such as Transformers 3. After thinking about it though… Ashton Kutcher started off as a model before loosing a bunch of IQ points on That 70′s Show. Point is, he nailed that role and (in my opinion) every role he’s played since then, at least in every movie I’ve seen him in. So maybe there is some hope for this girl after all… only time will tell.
