Watched Law Abiding Citizen
I’m sure that from the title of this article that you’ve already figured out that I just watched ‘Law Abiding Citizen’. What the title doesn’t tell you is that I had no idea how good this movie was going to be. Granted I am fully aware that Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx can act very well but I didn’t realize how well this story would be put together. I’m sorry for anyone who hasn’t already seen the movie because there might be a spoiler ahead.
The whole aspect of this movie really reminds me of ‘The Dark Knight’, just change Batman to Jamie Foxx. As for the Joker, just get rid of the face-paint and the eerie laugh and you have the criminal mastermind that is Gerard Butler’s character. Batman fails to save some people, so does Jamie Foxx (only Jamie Foxx fails a lot before he succeeds). Joker somehow manages to kill people from jail, so does Gerards’s character and both have the city they reside in under total fear and panic. The most obvious similarity is that they are both amazing movies (Dark Knight is still better… sorry Law Abiding Citizen).
I wouldn’t recommend this movie for the kids but for everyone else this is definitely a must see.

It was indeed one of the greatest movies I’ve seen lately. I liked especially that it surprizes you and the violence in it is not just bloody but well thought.
